SOUTH AMBOY-In 1944, the South Amboy Y.M.C.A. luncheonette was opened to the public from 8 am to 12 pm. A Thanksgiving dinner was served from 11 am to 2 pm.

WOODBRIDGE-This is from early 1930s material give to me. The Girl’s Club in Avenel, held a Thanksgiving Party at the Campbell Club House. The members brought a box lunch to be sold.

In Iselin, One hundred and fifty Thanksgiving baskets were distributed to the poor by Anthony Aquila by Committee-elect.
