Taz was happiest when he made people laugh and was an amazing chef. He was a dedicated Deadhead and went on many tours and shows. Taz was an amazing husband and best friend to many. Taz loved to live and lived to love. He enjoyed life the most in front of the stage, dancing through life to the sounds of music taking many of us along for the ride. And what a long strange trip it’s been.

Guth of Corning, his New York family, brothers, Bren (Kellie) Alleman of Millport and Bruce (Keough) Hallock of Horseheads, Godchildren and nieces, Kayte Allemen, Emily Allemen, and Kaycie Hallock, his New Jersey family, sisters, Vicky (Jim) Schmidt of Mountainside and Patty (Michael) Nunez of Corona, Calif., brother, Bill (Susan) Courtney of Whitehouse Station, nieces and nephews, Katie, Shannon, Billy, Molly, Alex and Emma, and niece, Ashlee Henderson, mother-in-law, Helen O’Neill of Piscataway, and sister-in-law, Theresa Santa Maria of Jackson.
