SCOTCH PLAINS — Jesus loved and spent time with people that society deemed as unacceptable or worthless. Sometimes today people feel like they are outsiders, different or unworthy. Recently the news has highlighted the harsh reality of bullying and hate within our schools and communities.
Grounded in Jesus’ words of welcome and love, Willow Grove Presbyterian Church invites all to be who they are and come to worship at The Connection on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. where you will be accepted for who you are – younger, older, gay, straight, conservative, liberal….
There will be live music, a relevant message, relaxed setting, and a welcoming Christian community. No matter who you are, you are welcome to come and experience God’s transforming love in Jesus Christ.
The Connection at Willow Grove offers worship in a café environment with good coffee and desserts. The church will have childcare available during this time as well as activities packets for children.
Willow Grove Presbyterian Church is located in Scotch Plains at 1961 Raritan Road, across the street from the Scotch Plains Southside Firehouse and Southside Soccer Field, and near the corner of South Martine Avenue. All facilities are handicap-accessible. Visit www.willowgrovechurch.org for information about other ministries.
