Writing Program Inspires Students To Learn About School’s Namesake

RAHWAY — Madison Elementary School in Rahway recently participated in the “Writing Across America.”   The goal of the program was to generate interest in writing with students from preschool to fifth grade. The students learned about former President James Madison, whom the school is named after.  There was a short assembly focusing on the life and accomplishments of Madison.  Pictured above, student Matthew Houck  represents  James Madison.
