Linden Parents Invited To Cyberbullying Workshop

LINDEN – Linden Public Schools and the Linden Police Department are sponsoring a workshop to help parents protect their children from the dangers of the Internet, cyberbullying and texting.

Jill Brown, founder of It’s My Locker – a social networking website for tweens that offers more parental controls than mainstream sites, and New Jersey police officer Det. Sgt. Thomas Rich will lead the workshop at Linden High School on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.

There will be refreshments and give-aways, and childcare will be provided.
