Rahway Students Mark Carl Sagan Day

RAHWAY — Carl Sagan (1934-1996) was a scientist who lived in Rahway and was a Rahway High School graduate. Roosevelt School in Rahway celebrated Carl Sagan Day by studying the stars and students all had the opportunity to visit Star- Lab. Star-Lab is a portable planetarium from Merck, that helps explain basic astronomy to students.

Principal Rocco Collucci and students Lola Wong, Comfort Adesina, Brian Alicea, and Ryan Espinosa, welcome visitors to the school on Carl Sagan Day.

Cristian Huertas, a fifth grader at Roosevelt School, is ready to enter StarLab.
