EDISON — On Saturday, Nov. 13, the NJ Department of Children and Families is hosting a community-wide resource fair.
There will be service providers to help answer questions about family programs and services that are currently available. Representatives from a variety of agencies will also discuss child safety and development, housing, substance abuse, mental health, disabilities, legal services and health screenings.
There will be live music, snacks, arts and crafts, face painting and entertainment for children. Shua Life Skills will present an anti-bullying program at 11 a.m. and Outsmart the Stranger, an anti-abduction program, at 2 p.m. DCF Commissioner Dr. Allison Blake will speak at noon.
The free, open house-style event will last from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the College Center at Middlesex County College, 2600 Woodbridge Avenue in Edison.
