Appreciate Our Veterans On Veterans Day

No patriotic American has to be reminded that Nov. 11th is Veterans Day. It’s unfortunate, however, that far too many people who are blessed to live in this country don’t know, or simply don’t care, about honoring veterans.

Their freedom is taken for granted. They should take a close look of what’s happening around the world, going back to World War 2 to the present day. American citizens, legal aliens, and yes illegal aliens, should thank God they live in this land of opportunity, they can come and go as they wish, practice their religious beliefs, and of course, freedom of speech. Try doing that in other countries.

So that is the meaning of this letter, all of this is possible because of our military veterans, both past and present. They gave their bodies, minds, and souls for all of us. Try to do something for them this Veterans Day. I don’t have to say what to do, your conscience should be your guide.

God bless our troops, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
