Edison Student Wins Bookstore Contest to Design Shirt for New Brunswick Center

NEW BRUNSWICK — Cassie Dent of Edison won a contest held by Middlesex County College’s Blue Colt Bookstore to create a t-shirt for the college’s New Brunswick Center. Dent, a graphic arts student at the college, won the contest, open to students in a typography class. Presenting her with a $100 gift certificate, from left: Karen Hays, vice president for academic and student affairs; Professor Fran Krimsky, in the Department of Visual, Performing and Media Arts; Mary Tutalo, assistant director of the Blue Colt Bookstore; Dent; Karen Katt, executive director of the bookstore; and Evelyn Rosa, director of the New Brunswick Center.
