Students Celebrate School’s Namesake

RAHWAY — After learning about the achievements of their school’s namesake, the fifth grade students in Deborah Prakapas’ class at Roosevelt School in Rahway wrote persuasive letters explaining why Theodore Roosevelt deserved the honor of being sculpted on Mount Rushmore. The children enjoyed ice cream in celebration of his birthday after sharing their letters.
