Oct. 26 at 9:15 p.m. – At Headquarters, Det. Kevin Shackleton arrested Linden resident John Reider, 21, and charged him with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.  He was subsequently released after posting bail pending a court date

Oct. 28 at 9:40 a.m. – At the Carteret Police Department, Officer Terrance Harrison arrested Rahway resident Todd Walker, 44, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.  He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Oct. 30 at 1:31 p.m. – Officer Terrance Harrison investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 1060 Raritan Road.

Oct. 30 at 4:49 p.m. – At 45 Central Avenue, Officer Terrance Harrison arrested North Brunswick resident Quadira Banks, 24, for allegedly shoplifting at the Target Department Store.  She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

Oct. 31 at 12:01 a.m. – In the vicinity of Madison Hill Road and Cornell Drive, Officer Brian Soos arrested Rahway resident Michael Buckley, 18, and charged him with unlawful possession of a weapon.  He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.
