Voting For Mackiel

I was liking John Dragotta but after the debate, I am voting for Vinnie Mackiel. I agree we need a change so I will pass over Fred Henry, although I know him and believe he is a trustworthy person who has worked for what he thinks is best.

The debate was a set-up that backfired but it shows the Republicans backing Mary are unethical. Voters are going to pick a dingbat who cannot do math or tell the truth because she has a high priced campaign consultant and bought off the local gossip columnist.

Mackiel has the strongest ideas for moving forward. He wants to develop the sand company property and create a solar power initiative in our public buildings. He has a lot of ‘green’ ideas and solid experience with both redevelopment and human services.

Mackiel was the only one who had a good answer to the question about crime. Fred Henry said things are much better, and that is certainly true, but Mackiel’s comprehensive approach would make our families even safer.

John Dragotta had good ideas, but was not as strong as Mackiel. During the campaign, Mary said something really stupid, because if police stop responding to domestic violence calls we could end up with another murder.

Daniel Charron is in prison for killing his girlfriend, Myra Morrissey, and stabbing four children in December 2007. Charron attempted to murder of three of his own kids from a previous relationship and the fourth child was Morrisey’s daughter. Maybe Mary was in Paris when that happened, but her suggestion is just another indication that she does not know what’s going on in town.
