STATE – The Sierra Club of New Jersey Chapter has endorsed Democrat Frank Pallone in his bid for re-election to represent the state’s 6th District in Congress. They cited Pallone’s record on environmental issues, calling him a “true leader.”
The Sierra Club chapter criticized Pallone’s opponent, conservative Republican Anna Little, for her positions on off-shore oil drilling and global warming.
“Ann Little thinks global warming is a hoax and wants to drill off our coast. New Jersey does not need to send a fossil foolish Palin clone to Washington,” said Jeff Tittel, NJ Sierra Club Director. “We have seen the impacts from climate change, with storm and floods threatening our coasts and our $40 billion a year tourism industry. Little just does not get it. She is wrong for New Jersey.”
