ELIZABETH — St. Patrick High School students are preparing their production of “Godspell.”  The show will be presented on Friday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m.

“Godspell” is a wonderful musical adaptation of the lessons of St. Matthew’s Gospel. Scenes set to the lessons of the parables of Jesus found in the Gospels are presented in music and dance, full of energy and youthful enthusiasm that appeal to the emotions of young and old alike.

The production is being directed by faculty member George Meier.  Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door.  Following a St. Patrick High School tradition, the Sunday performance will host the 50th reunion of the Class of 1960.  Further information as well as tickets may be secured by calling the school 1-908-353-5220.
