ELIZABETH — On Tuesday afternoon, the Union County Homicide Task Force charged and arrested an Elizabeth man in connection with a September homicide, Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow announced.
Alsherik Harris, 30, is charged with murder and weapon possession in the Sept. 25 death of Amir Josey. The homicide occurred near 220 Parker Road in Elizabeth, said Romankow.
Josey, 23, lived on Willow Street, Bloomfield NJ and was shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene, said Romankow.
Harris is being held at the Union County Jail on $1 million bail.
