CLARK — Fourth and fifth grade students at the Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark learned about the legislative process from 22nd Legislative District Assemblywoman Linda Stender this week.

Stender taught the students about how a bill becomes a law, the democratic process, and how government works on Oct. 19.  Her visit was part of the national “Legislators Back to School” Program run through state legislatures.

After leaving her audience of nine, ten, and eleven year olds at Hehnly School, Stender taped an interview with Superintendent Kenneth Knops and Director of Curriculum and Instruction Vince Caputo for airing on Cable Station 36 in Clark.
