The Arco Ensemble To At Kean’s Enlow Recital Hall

HILLSIDE — Northern New Jersey’s Virtuoso String Orchestra, the Arco Ensemble will present Music from across the Pond on Nov. 12, at 8 p.m. With internationally renowned guest conductor David Angus, Arco will be performing music by England’s greatest composers.

Works will include the U.S. premieres of Sir Richard Rodney Bennett’s Reflections on a Theme of William Walton and Herbert Howells’ Serenade for 4 Solo Violins and String Orchestra as well as Les Illuminations by Benjamin Britten, featuring soprano Katherine Harris, and Serenade for Strings by Edward Elgar.


The performance will take place at Kean University’s Enlow Recital Hall. This new concert hall has precision acoustics unmatched by most other venues in the region. Enlow Hall is located on the Nathan Weiss Graduate School campus of Kean University at 215 North Avenue in Hillside.
