CLARK – Frank K. Hehnly’s newly formed K-Kids Program, sponsored by the local Kiwanis and coordinated by school nurse Donna Kircher, is a club for children in grades 3 through 5 to coordinate service projects to give back to the community. Hehnly’s K-Kids are collecting unused and/or no-longer-needed eyeglasses.  They will be sent to the Lions Club and refurbished for those that cannot afford glasses.  You can send in eyeglasses with a Hehnly student or drop them in the school’s main office through the end of October. Pictured is fifth grade K-Kids member, Mackenzie Purcell.
