Triano’s Goal Sends Kean Field Hockey Past Ramapo

MAHWAH – The Kean University field hockey team picked up their ninth win of the season as they defeated Ramapo College, 1-0, Tuesday afternoon in New Jersey Athletic Conference action.

The Cougars (9-4, 3-1 NJAC) scored the match’s lone goal at 48:46 as junior Olivia Triano took the pass from senior Amie Hoch on a penalty corner.


Kean tallied 21 penalty corners and outshot the Roadrunners (6-8, 0-4 NJAC) 13-7.

Goalkeeper Lauren Dobbs made seven saves in the win.

The Cougars enjoy a week off when they next take on The College of New Jersey on Tuesday, October 26th.
