Time For Change In Rahway

NJTODAY.NET's online business directory

I encourage you to vote for real change.  It has been 20 years of the same team and 40 years of the same party – 2010 is Rahway’s year for change.

For the decades I supported the vision of Mayor Jim Kennedy even though I generally consider myself a Republican.  The vision was worth following and working with Jim was mostly fun. For the second half of the 1990s, Rahway had a dream team to work on the vision; Frank Reagan as City Planner, Joe Mancuso for the Arts Center and Bill Fontana at the RCP.

[smartads]

But the vision has suffered from poor execution when this team moved on.  One example is the replacement Planner, she brought cases before us on zoning board that were an embarrassment — expensive for Rahway — expensive business killing for the applicant.

Change of government will shake-up some players that have hurt the business climate of the City of Rahway.

Rahway, please elect Patrick Cassio, it is time to clean out this and so much more of City Hall’s dead wood.  Pat as Mayor is the only way to get the RCP meltdown and SID taxes properly investigated.

Rahway it is time for a change — that change is Mayor Patrick Cassio
