Woodbridge Store Sells $250,000 Mega Millions Ticket

WOODBRIDGE – One lucky New Jersey Lottery player has won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 for the Tuesday, October 12 drawing. The winning ticket, which was sold in Woodbridge, was purchased at Wegmans Food Markets, located at 15 Woodbridge Center Drive.

“Congratulations to Wegmans Food Markets,” said the Lottery’s Acting Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $500. They have become one of the Lottery’s most recent ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”

While there was no top-prize winner, 38,990 other New Jersey players took home $166,188 in prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000, according to Hedinger.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Oct. 12 drawing were: 10, 31, 36, 37, and 43 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 15. With no winner of the top prize, the Mega Millions jackpot will roll to $72,000,000 for the next drawing to be held tonight at 11 p.m. on NJN-TV – the New Jersey Network.
