RAHWAY — On Saturday, Oct. 2, more than 25 students from Rahway High School’s Social Action Club joined the Rahway River Association in the annual Fall Cleanup of Milton Lake Park in Rahway.  During the event, students and community volunteers banded together to clear the area surrounding Milton Lake and the Rahway River in Milton Lake Park of debris.  Several dozen bags of garbage were then taken from the park by Union County Parks & Recreation.  The Social Action Club, under the leadership of English teacher Elizabeth Graner Jotz, works to teach students about the importance of social activism and awareness.
