“Café Jazz Series” Returns To Rahway Library

RAHWAY — The Somerset Jazz Consortium will be returning for jazz performances at the Rahway Public Library on Saturdays Oct. 9, 16, and 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. During these performances listeners will hear samples from many styles of jazz from wide selection of musicians.

The Somerset Jazz Consortium has played in many venues across New Jersey and other locations. On Oct. 9 the Somerset Jazz Consortium will spotlight its Sunday Jam Session House Band with Jim Jaison on piano, David Grossman on guitar, Regina Guazzo on string base, and Ben Rose on drums.

The Oct. 16 jazz performance will feature the Luke Miller ensemble with Vincent Troyani. Finally on Oct. 23, the Mike Lawton Jazz Ensemble featuring Mike Lawton on the piano, Jack Keenan on the guitar, Aaron Moment on bass, and Vincent Kucinski on drums will be highlighted
