“Bowl For Hunger” Event Raises An Estimated $12,000

WOODBRIDGE — Assemblyman Craig J. Coughlin, the Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation and the Middlesex Water Company announced that the first “Bowl for Hunger” on Sunday, Oct. 3 raised an estimated $12,000 with the donations still being totaled. The money will be distributed amongst the 19th Legislative District’s 29 food banks.

Coughlin praised and thanked the Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation and the Middlesex Water Company for partnering with his office in the Bowl for Hunger endeavor—stating that together 54 corporate sponsors and over 192 bowling participants helped feed individuals and families who otherwise would not have been fed.

The 19th Legislative District is comprised of the following municipalities: Carteret, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, South Amboy, and Woodbridge.
