Edison Plans Thanksgiving Day Parade Bus Trip

EDISON – The Township of Edison is planning a bus trip to New York City this Thanksgiving.

The Thursday, Nov. 25, trip offers the chance to see the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade live for the cost of $20 per person.  Leaving Edison for New York at 5 a.m., you will have a great sight line on 72nd Street to view the 9 a.m. parade.

The bus will depart from New York at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the conclusion of the parade and should arrive back in Edison at approximately 1:30 p.m., just in time for Thanksgiving dinner.

Limited tickets go on sale on Monday, Oct. 4 at the Stelton Community Center, 328 Plainfield Avenue and the Minnie B. Veal Community Center, 1070 Grove Avenue, Edison from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
