EDISON — Investigators have determined the identity of human remains that were found in a wooded area of Edison last week, Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan announced last night.
Jubar R. “Esco” Croswell, 30, of Brooklyn, N.Y. was identified Wednesday during an investigation by the Edison Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Croswell worked as a male model.
Authorities said that the cause of death has not yet been determined, but the investigation is continuing.
The investigation began after a man, whose identity is being withheld, contacted authorities after discovering the remains on Sept. 23, while walking in a wooded area near the Oakwood Plaza shopping center on Wood Avenue.
