Old Bridge Resident Thanks Freeholders For Preserving Open Space

NJTODAY.NET's online business directory

I want to thank the members of the Middlesex County Freeholder Board for once again stepping up and helping preserve open space. Through their assistance, 63 acres in Old Bridge which was threatened by development will now be preserved for posterity.

So often, we see land paved over for another shopping center and parking lot. The Cottrell Farm is a piece of township history and I am glad that the 1831 farmhouse and the apple orchard, the last remnant of the farm, will stand and be maintained for future generations.

Kudos to our Middlesex County Freeholders for looking out for us!
