Kean Women’s Tennis Blanks Lehman, 9-0

UNION – The Kean University women’s tennis team picked up their fourth win of the season as they defeated Lehman College, 9-0, Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.

Freshman Debra Dress was victorious at fourth singles (6-0, 6-1) while joining with senior Lisette LaForge in first doubles in an 8-0 win. LaForge (pictured right) earned the win at second singles with a 6-2, 6-1 mark. Sophomore Lauren Petrucelli won at first singles (6-1, 6-0) and paired with freshman Jaelynn Lee for an 8-0 win at second doubles. Lee won her match at sixth singles by the final of 6-1, 6-0. Junior Miriam Penafiel won in straight sets (6-0, 6-0) in third singles and combined with senior Annie Ramos for an 8-3 win at third doubles.
