Free ESL Courses For Healthcare Workers Who Are Residents Of Elizabeth

ELIZABETH – From October 4 to 22, Union County College will be offering a free ESL course for healthcare workers who are residents of the city of Elizabeth and are over the age of 18. This career training course is for those who want to get a job in the healthcare field, have advanced-level English skills, and are available to participate in the 45 hours of the course.

The course will be offered daily from 9 a.m. to noon or from 6 to 9 p.m. on the 5th floor of the college’s Elizabeth I. Kellogg Building located at 40 West Jersey Street in Elizabeth. This course is for anyone who would like to improve their knowledge of the English language and work in the healthcare field.

Information sessions about this training course will be held on Sept. 23, Sept. 29, and Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Retail Skills Center located on the lower level of the Jersey Gardens Mall by Entrance “D”, at 651 Kapkowski Road. A simple assessment test will be taken during the information session.
