NEW BRUNSWICK—AM Productions and State Theatre present comedian Craig Ferguson, host of The Late, Late Show on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 8pm. Ferguson’s sharp, witty and unmistakable brand of humor has earned him worldwide recognition and success across a broad variety of media and among critics and audiences alike. Craig Ferguson, host of The Late, Late Show since 2005, began his diverse and eclectic career in his hometown of Glasgow, Scotland. Ferguson, an award-winning author, playwright, director, actor, and comedian, jumpstarted his onscreen career with the BBC television show, The Ferguson Theory. He has also held feature roles on ABC’s Maybe This Time and as Nigel Wick on The Drew Carey Show. Ferguson has also written feature films, The Big Tease and Saving Grace and in 2003, made his directorial debut with I’ll Be There. I’ll Be There, which he also wrote and starred in. The film went on to receive the Audience Award for Best Film at the Aspen, Dallas, and Valencia film festivals.
Ferguson is the author of two best-selling books, Between The Bridge and The River and America On Purpose. He also serves on the board of Lollipop Theater Network, which brings movies that are currently in theatrical release to hospitalized children facing chronic and life threatening illness nationwide.
