Kean Volleyball Drops Both Saturday Matches At Kean Invitational

UNION – The Kean University women’s volleyball team dropped both of its matches in Saturday action at the team’s own Kean Invitational.

The Cougars (8-7) suffered 3-0 setbacks to both Berry College (13-25, 11-25, 13-25) and City College of New York (19-25, 23-25, 24-26).

Junior Jamie Sacco had five kills in each match, while setter Colleen Masterson finished with a combined 27 assists between the two matches. Junior Tara Richey contributed nine kills and four solo blocks on the day.

The Cougars host Rutgers-Newark in New Jersey Athletic Conference action on Tuesday, September 21, at 7 p.m.
