UNION — The Union Public Library will feature “Legal Rights of Students with Disabilities” presented by Ralph Gerstein, special education attorney, on Oct. 6, at 7 p.m.
The program will provide information to help parents and educators understand student/parent rights related to special education. An overview of the special education and disability statutes such as (IDEA) Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, (ADA) Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 will be discussed.
Admission to the program is free.
