WOODBRIDGE – The Barron Arts Center will present Rob Paparozzi and the Hudson River Rats on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m. to conclude “Red, White & Blues: Jazz & Blues from the Garden State,” a concert series running through the summer of 2010. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
The concert will take place outdoors on the lawn at The Barron Arts Center, 582 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge. In case of rain, the concert will be held indoors and seating will be on a first-come, first-seated basis. Call 732-634-0413 for more information.
New Jersey-based frontman, singer, and harmonica player Rob Paparozzi has a long and remarkably diverse list of major artists he has worked with, including B.B.King, Dr. John, Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, Carole King, Roberta Flack, Culture Club, Cyndi Lauper, Randy Newman, Jimmy McGriff, and James Galway. Since 2005 to present Rob is Frontman-Singer for the Legendary “Blood Sweat and Tears.”
In the spirit of giving back to the community, the Barron Arts Center is collect items for the Mayor’s Food Pantry, Woodbridge Animal Shelter and Angel PAWS at all programs and events throughout the year. Please bring a non-perishable food donation for the Mayor’s Food Pantry and/or cat & dogs items for Woodbridge Animal Shelter and Angel PAWS.
Items needed include cat and dog food (wet and premium dry), kitty litter, paper towels, paper plates, cleaning supplies (bleach, soap), towels, animal beds, toys, bathroom throw rugs, plastic garbage bags, grooming items (q-tips, cotton balls), and office supplies (paper, pens, etc.)
