Powerball Prize Reaches $94 Million

TRENTON – Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is worth $94 million.

There was no top prize winner in Saturday’s drawing, but  two lucky New Jersey Lottery players won the Powerball second prize of $200,000 on Sept. 11.


One of the winning New Jersey tickets was sold in Paterson; the other was sold in Hightstown.

“Congratulations to Ronny Liquor & Bar and Hightstown Pharmacy,” said the Lottery’s Acting Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “They have become two of the Lottery’s newest ‘lucky locations’ overnight. For selling this ticket, Ronny Liquor & Bar and Hightstown Pharmacy will each receive bonus checks for $500. ”

In addition to the two second-prize winners, 31,104 other New Jersey players took home $165,008 in prizes ranging from $3 to $10,000, according to Hedinger.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, Sept. 11 drawing were: 07, 17, 20, 36, and 59 and the Red Power Ball number was 33. The Power Play number was 4. Tonight’s drawing will be televised at 11 p.m. on NJN-TV–the New Jersey Network.
