The written word is an amazing thing, and when it is celebrated in poetry and verse, with a simple voice, it tends to make one sit up and take notice…

Well, sit up and take notice y’all, because it’s time for Chestnut Street Community Church, to, once again, pull out its ‘poetic’ license, for their annual ‘Poetry Night’ benefit event…

[smartads]

Located at 303 Chestnut Street in Roselle, the event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 25th, starting at 5:30 p.m. (and if last year is any indication, get there early, ‘cause the place does get packed…)

In fact, last year’s ‘standing room only’ crowd was treated to over 3 hours of talented tales that kept the listeners riveted, and this year will be no exception…

Many of those same artists will be back again for this year’s event, entitled “The Wedding Feast” (which will focus on the book of the ‘Songs Of Solomon’…)

Some of this year’s poets will include…Letisha Springer, Brianna Randall, Danielle Snow, and yours truly…and the evening’s festivities will be presented to you by Emily Snow and Billy Sainvil…

(For more information and ticket prices, you can contact Chestnut Street at 1-908-241-6470)

So, if you appreciate the written word (and you must, ‘cause you’re reading this now), then make sure you get to ‘sit up and take notice’ of this truly unique event as well…
