September 3, 2010

WOODBRIDGE — The Woodbridge Interfaith Clergy Council will hold a memorial service to commemorate the 9th Anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and the heroic actions of the citizens aboard United Airlines Flight 93.

First Presbyterian Church of Iselin, the Woodbridge Township Veterans Alliance, representatives of the Woodbridge Township Emergency Response community, and the township administration will take part in the event, planned for Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m.

The interfaith service serves as a memorial to honor the nine Woodbridge Township residents who lost their lives in the terror attack. The service will be conducted at the 9/11 memorial in front of Town Hall that was constructed in 2002. Members of the Woodbridge Township community are invited to attend the ceremony.
