STATE – Rep. Leonard Lance is a safe enough bet to be re-elected that CNN has removed New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District from its “Races To Watch” list.

Although the Republican congressman represents a district that President Barack Obama carried in 2008, his opponent has “yet to make significant inroads,” according to CNN.

Democrat Ed Potosnak, a former teacher, is challenging Lance in the general election.

The only New Jersey congressman who remains at risk according to CNN is Democrat John Adler. The news agency moved New Jersey’s Third Congressional District race from its 50 Most Vulnerable Seats list to its 50 Races To Watch list.
