OLD BRIDGE – A Pick 6 Lotto ticket that was sold in Middlesex County has won the top prize of $6.75 million for the drawing held on Monday, Aug. 30. The Pick 6 Lotto jackpot now resets to $2 million for the drawing on Thursday, September 2.
New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Carole Hedinger announced that only one of the 785,568 tickets sold for the Monday, Aug. 30 drawing matched all six numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 09, 26, 31, 33, 45, and 48. The winning ticket was purchased at JK & AP LLC, located at 1130 Englishtown Road in Old Bridge.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at JK & AP LLC ,” said Hedinger. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, they have become yet another ‘lucky location’ for a very fortunate winner.”
Hedinger also reported that 11,793 other players won $115,737 in cash prizes in the drawing. For correctly picking five numbers, 9 players won cash prizes of $4,364 each, for correctly matching four numbers 579 players won $74.00 each and 11,205 players won $3.00 each for correctly matching three numbers.
“Somewhere out there, someone is holding a winning ticket,” concluded Director Hedinger, “But it’s important to note that they are not the only winners from this Pick 6 drawing. From this jackpot roll alone, which began on June 24, New Jersey generated over $695,000 in commissions for our lottery retailers and over $5.8 million in support of state programs. Pick 6 continues to be a winning experience for all citizens of the Garden State.”
