Edison Recreation To Offer Volleyball For Youth And Adults

EDISON — The Edison Recreation Department will offer open volleyball for all community center-registered sixth through twelfth graders, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 21.

Every Tuesday and Friday evening, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., middle and high school aged youths will have instruction and open play. This co-ed program has a $10 yearly teen community center fee, which runs from July 1 to June 30 of each year.


The programs will be held at the Minnie B. Veal Community Center, 1070 Grove Avenue, Edison on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and the Thomas Jefferson Middle School, 450 Division Street, Edison on Fridays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.  All levels of play are welcome.  On Friday evenings, from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., registered adults are welcome to join open play at Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
