Aug. 23 at 7:52 p.m. – In the vicinity of Lake Avenue, Officer Joseph Teston arrested Colonia resident Michael McGuirl, 28, Gillette resident Stacy Reidinger, 28, and Winfield resident Andrew Sojka, 30, on charges of possessing a controlled substance. All three individuals were subsequently released pending a court date.

Aug. 23 at 9:33 p.m. – Officer Chris Lott investigated a report of a burglary to an Amelia Drive residence.

Aug. 24 at 5:48 p.m. – Officer Eric Richter investigated a report of a theft of items from a locker at 140 Central Avenue.

Aug. 24 at 6:03 p.m. – Officer Eric Richter investigated a report of a theft of items from a locker at 140 Central Avenue.

Aug. 25 at 12:55 p.m. – In the vicinity of 76 Central Avenue, Detective David Satkowski arrested Montclair resident Gary Lubin, 24, on outstanding warrants from East Brunswick and Piscataway for contempt of court. He was subsequently released after posting bail.

Aug. 25 at 6:10 p.m. – At 186 Westfield Avenue, Officer Terrance Harrison arrested Elizabeth resident Kevin Taylor, 24, and charged him with theft. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Aug. 25 at 10:26 p.m. – In the vicinity of Lake Avenue, Detective David Satkowski arrested Plainfield resident Derek Brown, 29, on an outstanding warrant from South Plainfield for contempt of court. He was subsequently released after posting bail.

Aug. 26 at 12:19 p.m. – At the Newark Police Department, Officer Dan Pitts arrested Newark resident Sajade Pray, 32, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.
