AAA Hosts Food Drive To Benefit Underprivileged New Jersey Families

SPRINGFIELD– AAA New Jersey invites members and the general public to donate to its Food Drive, which will benefit less fortunate individuals and families in New Jersey.

From Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, AAA New Jersey’s Springfield branch, located at 135 Route 22 East, will accept various non-perishable food items, including infant formulas and powdered milk, packaged meals, and canned fruits, vegetables, meats and fish.

The food donations will be distributed to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey in Hillside to help underprivileged families.

Donations can be made during the branch’s business hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Car Care Center is open Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, call 1-973-467-2651.
