RAHWAY — Rahway High School honored the 2009-2010 AP students at the Rahway High School Advanced Placement Awards Ceremony held on Aug. 18. Twenty-six students earned a grade of 3, 4, or 5 on the May Advanced Placement Examinations in the areas of mathematics, science, and English. Overall, 45 grades of 3 or higher were earned in all AP areas this past year.
As a result of the sponsorship of the Marianthi Foundation, an organization lead by retired Merck CEO, P. Roy Vagelos and his son, Associate Director Andrew Vagelos, the students earned financial rewards. Edward Yergalonis, Rahway Superintendent of Schools moderated the evening’s event.
