“Family Flix” Series Concludes With “Racing Stripes”

CRANFORD – The “Family Flix” summer film series will conclude for 2010 on Tuesday evening, Aug. 24, in Nomahegan Park in Cranford.

“Racing Stripes” is a 2005 Warner Brothers comedy that follows the trials and tribulations of a zebra named “Stripes” and a young girl who share a desire to compete in a big-time horse race.

“Racing Stripes” will be shown outdoors, free of charge, beginning at dusk. Before the movie, Watchung Stable staff members will guide lead-line rides on horses for youngsters in the park.
