WOODBRIDGE – The Woodbridge Township Police Department is accepting applications from people who want to be police officers.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen between the ages of 18 and 35, live in Woodbridge, have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid New Jersey driver’s license. Appointees are required to pass through medical and psychological examinations, as well as drug screenings. They must also complete a basic police course. Starting salary is $41,600.

Applications are available at the Woodbridge Township Personnel Office, the Woodbridge Police Department and the Woodbridge Main Library. They must be filed by Aug. 31.
