Concert Benefits Barron Arts Center

WOODBRIDGE – The New Horizons Band will perform familiar works from well-known Broadway musicals at a benefit concert with proceeds to benefit the Barron Arts Center on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 2 p.m.

The concert will take place outdoors on the great lawn of The Barron Arts Center, located at 582 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge. Concert-goers should bring a lawn chair. In the event of rain, a new date and time will be announced.


The New Horizons Band of Woodbridge is a program which gives adults the opportunity to dust off their old musical instruments, try a new instrument, or learn to read music and play in a band for the first time. The band’s 30 members range in age from mid-20s to late-80s, and come from all backgrounds and walks of life. For more information, visit the band’s website at
