MIDDLESEX COUNTY — The deadline for Middlesex County social services agencies to submit Freeholder Support Grant applications has been extended to Sept. 13, due to the shortened Labor Day work week and the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. The original deadline for submission was Sept. 10.
“The purpose of these support grants is to provide assistance to Middlesex County’s most vulnerable populations, including the homeless, low-income households and others, and we are pleased to be able to provide them,” said Freeholder Blanquita B. Valenti, chair of the Human Services and Senior Services Committee.
Completed support grant applications are due no later than 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, at the Middlesex County Department of Human Services, Division of Social Work Services, 5th Floor Administration Building, 75 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901. Applications will not be accepted after the submission deadline.
Submission of a 2011 support grant application does not constitute a guarantee of funding for new or previously funded programs.
