BERKELEY HEIGHTS — The Berkeley Heights Lions Club sponsored an annual hospital-wide ice cream party complete with entertainment at Runnells Specialized Hospital of Union County. Lions and other volunteers scooped and served the summertime favorite.
Berkeley Heights Lions members joined Patricia Scott of Union, Activities Therapy and Volunteer Services Director before the ice cream party. Adrian Basili of Gillette handed an ice cream sundae with all the trimmings to Elaine Peterson, formerly of New Providence (center), a lively resident of Runnells Specialized Hospital. Joining them was Patricia Scott, Director of Activities Therapy and Volunteer Services from Union (left).
