Unidentified Body Found On Raritan River Shoreline

PERTH AMBOY — On July 31 at 11:15 p.m., the body of an unidentified male was discovered on the shoreline of the Raritan River in Perth Amboy, authorities said.

The body was discovered several hundred yards east of the Victory Bridge, and was in stages of decomposition. The body is that of a white mail (possibly Spanish decent) in his mid-twenties to mid-thirties, with shoulder length dark hair.


He was discovered wearing blue shorts, a t-shirt, and “Aero-Vex” running sneakers (size 13). The deceased had a tattoo on his right arm running from his shoulder to elbow. Autopsy results indicate the subject has been deceased at least one week. The cause of death has not yet been determined, authorities said.
