LINDEN — Castle Academic Summer Camp is warmly received because of its unique style, according to Cathay Coleman, director of Castle Learning Center. “We help students become better learners so they can achieve their best,” said Coleman.
Each morning at Summer Camp, students practice math and English. The teachers create individual lessons based on what students need to refine, also create group activities that engage all students at once. Students improve in their academic studies by exposure to both types of learning experiences. Each weekend, instructors send the students’ folders home for their parents to review.
During the afternoons at Summer Camp, students enjoy many different activities such as guitar workshop, museum visits, swimming, bowling and Chinese culture lessons. Some activities are designed to spark imaginative learning.
There is still time to enroll children for the August Summer Camp session at Castle. The program attracts students from Linden, as well as Millburn, Westfield, Roselle and Woodbridge.
Castle has begun registration for the “After School Program” for the upcoming school year. For more information, call 1-908-967-2971 or visit or visit www.castlelearningcenter.com.
