Christian Center Continues Haiti Relief Effort With Benefit Concert

LINDEN — Morning Star Community Christian Center is hosting a free concert and all proceeds will go toward the Haiti relief efforts.

Hosted by the Music and Arts Ministry, the concert will take place on Sunday, July 25, at 1009 Chandler Avenue, Linden. The doors open at 4 p.m. and the concert will begin at 5 p.m.

The people of Haiti need food, water and clothing as well as help in rebuilding their infrastructure. “This has hit home for the Morning Star family and we will continue to mobilize and do our part in the rebuilding efforts,” said Senior Pastor Therman Evans. “Our efforts continue as we receive contributions monthly from our members. The compassion and caring spirit that is the hallmark of Morning Star is never more evident than in times of great need. Directing our donations through NJ for Haiti is the best way we can help our brothers and sisters in Haiti,” he added.
